Evolution Kid is Less Than Jake's current mascot. He is a drawn cartoon created by Peter Wonsowski in 1996, originally used on the "Evolution of Jake" shirt. He is usually seen running with a wide smile and holding a PEZ dispenser (probably of himself) a la Olympic torch. He is part of the band's merchandise in the form of T-shirts, PEZ dispensers, blobbingheads, action figures and collectibles. He sometimes gets changed his name depending on the situation, like in the picture, where he looks like a communist propaganda poster and is given the name "Commie Kid".
